Holistic Trauma Therapy Intensives

Brainspotting & IFS Trauma Therapy Intensives in-person in Denver, Colorado

Supporting you in healing from trauma, shifting limiting beliefs, and preparing for what's next through immersive, unrushed time dedicated to deep therapeutic work.

Does this feel familiar?

You’re craving true depth in your healing journey.

You’re at the end of another 50-minute therapy session, and you finally feel open enough to touch the same themes you’ve been revisiting week after week, and all of a sudden, time is up.

The problem? Weekly therapy just doesn’t cut it for you. Your schedule is overwhelming or you feel you need more processing time than 50 minutes 1x a week can provide.  You keep revisiting the same themes — relationships, self-worth, old wounds, identity — and getting stuck in the same places. You wish you could finally work through what’s keeping you stuck.

That’s where a therapy intensive comes in.

Intensives concentrate weeks/months of therapy into 2+ days, allowing you to do the deep life-changing work that you’ve been waiting for.

Instead of spreading out 50-minute sessions over weeks, an intensive provides a concentrated healing experience with longer, focused sessions (3 hours+) that work around your schedule without the weekly commitment. Using powerful brain-body therapies like Trauma-Informed Yoga, Brainspotting, and Parts work (IFS), you can experience life-changing healing in the span of a weekend.

When we take the courageous step to create a relationship with our pain instead of bypassing it, we are gifted with a deeper connection to ourselves and a more vibrant life filled with possibility.

Wondering if therapy intensives are the right fit?

Therapy intensives are designed for people who want (or need) to go deeper, faster. They create the space for real momentum when traditional weekly therapy doesn’t quite fit.

You might be a great fit for an intensive if:

  • Your busy schedule doesn’t allow for weekly therapy, but you’re eager to heal and feel better as soon as possible.
Whether you're a pilot, healthcare provider, entrepreneur, therapist, or working parent—your calendar is full, but your healing still matters.

  • Traditional 50-minute sessions don’t suit your processing style—you prefer longer sessions that let you hyperfocus and dive deep.
You want time to explore your thoughts, sensations, and emotions without being rushed out the door just as you're getting somewhere.

  • You’ve got a major life event on the horizon—whether it’s a marriage, family reunion, big move, new job, or a psychedelic/plant medicine ceremony—and want to process your emotions before or after.
You’re craving intentional support as you prepare for or integrate something significant.

  • You feel that talk therapy alone isn’t quite cutting it.
You’ve spent time in therapy and still feel like something is missing—like your body, your inner parts, or your deeper nervous system responses haven’t had the space to be seen.

  • You feel stuck or plateaued.
Maybe you’ve done a lot of work already—but something still feels unresolved. You’re ready for a “reset” or reorientation that creates new insight, clarity, or relief.

  • You’re navigating trauma, grief, or identity exploration.
Whether it's related to your past, your body, your relationships, or your neurodivergence—you're ready to be witnessed in the fullness of your story.

  • You want a retreat-style experience that blends depth, care, and integration.
You’re drawn to therapy that includes somatic practices, nervous system work, parts work, and creative or ceremonial elements—not just talk.

  • You’re new to therapy but you know you want to do intensive work and it aligns with your needs.
You’ve always known you need more time and space to feel safe, open up, and process at your own pace.

What can Therapy Intensives help with?

Mind-Body Healing

An approach that recognizes the deep connection between the mind and the body in the healing process. It involves addressing emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of well-being simultaneously to promote holistic recovery. Intensives can help address the following:

Nervous System Reset

Support shifting the nervous system from a state of overwhelm or shutdown back to a state of balance and calm. This can include practices like deep breathing, mindfulness, somatic (body-based) therapies, and brain-body approaches like Brainspotting and IFS (Internal Family Systems). Together, we’ll soothe the nervous system, promote relaxation, and help build new neural pathways that support feelings of safety, joy, and well-being. Intensives can help address the following:

Deep Authentic Self-Connection + Partnered Connection

A path toward reconnecting with your most authentic self—beyond the layers of masking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or survival strategies you’ve had to adopt. This work also supports deepening intimacy and trust in relationships by exploring how your internal world shapes the way you connect with others. Through intensive, focused support, you’ll build self-awareness, emotional expression, and the capacity for genuine connection—with yourself and those closest to you. Intensives can help address the following:

How can this structure support me?

Is intensive therapy really more cost effective and time efficient than weekly therapy?

Intensive Therapy includes:

  • 10-15 minutes of checking in, establishing session focus

  • 160-210 minutes of Brainspotting processing, Yoga Therapy, Expressive Arts, Parts work

  • 10-15 minutes closing the session

You might fully resolve one or multiple areas you’re struggling with in half a day, costing around $1,500. 2-3 hours of Brainspotting processing, Parts work and yoga is equivalent to at least double that amount of talk therapy sessions so you’re doing more work, in less time, requiring less therapy overall.

You don’t have to keep taking time off of work or paying for childcare to attend your sessions.

You can read more about the research done on Brainspotting and intensives and their effectiveness here and here. This is an article about the economic value.

Weekly Therapy includes:

  • 10-15 minutes of checking in from the last session

  • 20-30 minutes of narrative processing

  • 10-15 minutes of closing the session

It might take you weeks or months of this structure to dive deep enough into a topic or stressor to feel relief from it. In a year you could spend $8,000+ if you showed up to therapy weekly.

Life is also happening in between your 50-minute sessions, and processing the same topic can become derailed as new things happen and you want to process those experiences. Your session focus can shift drastically from week to week which can leave you feeling unresolved in multiple areas.
